PEEPLES CRISIS INTERVENTION
Amber Peeples the founder and creator of Peeples Crisis Intervention provide resources and services within the community to decrease violence and create safety measures for victims. Peeples Crisis Intervention resources include the 1WAY App which provides in the moment crisis care through a mobile app. Furthermore, the 1WAY App can be used as a preventative measure for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and any person in crisis. Similarly, Peeples Crisis Intervention services include sponsoring and hosting AKP Supreme Basketball Tournaments to encourage self confidence, cohesiveness, and determination. Lastly, Peeples Crisis Intervention provides a variety of vending solutions, including traditional snack and beverage options, as well as specialized machines offering fresh food, electronics, and health-conscious items.
During Covid-19 a time when the world was under a critical health crisis; the economy was shut down, and families were forced to remain inside, violence begin to increase across the world. As families were inside 24/7 it caused violence within households and forced people to result to their own devices causing an increase in gun violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking. As the world begin to change for the worst violence began to rise, and Amber decided to put her business education and Government Contracting experience into practice to help change the world for the better.
Amber obtained her Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Norfolk State University in May 2010. Additionally, Amber obtained her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management in December 2015 and has over 8 years in Government Contracting experience. On August 30 2022, Peeples Crisis Intervention was developed to build cohesiveness and safety within communities. Peeples Crisis Intervention plan is to partner with agencies who are utilizing preventive measures to decrease domestic violence, human trafficking, and gun violence within the community. Ultimately, Peeples Crisis Intervention goal is to partner together to cultivate a community of safety, convenience, and trust.
